Kareena Kapoor strains her vocal chords while shooting intense scene

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor, who is busy shooting for R Balki’s ‘Ki and Ka’ recently hurt herself on sets. According to reports, the actress was shooting an intense scene, and strained her vocal chords in the process.

The emotional scene reportedly required the actress to argue with her onscreen husband played by Arjun Kapoor, and was therefore required to raise her voice and scream for two hours. After which she wasn’t able to speak and temporarily lost her voice.

A doctor reportedly visited the sets and after being given an injection the actress continued shooting. Kareena has been working hard and shooting non-stop for long hours. Is her tight schedule taking a toll on her health ?
