This woman got photoshopped in 18 countries to match their 'perfect body' type
It is said that ‘beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’. Not just individuals but even different cultures have different standards for judging beauty and attractiveness.
Superdrug Online Doctors started a project called Perceptions of Perfection to emphasise different views of what the ‘perfect body’ should look like from as many as 18 different countries. The project involved asking female designers from 18 countries to photoshop the above image of a woman in her underwear.
The results, as you see below, are very different from the original.

What we see from the results is that what might be considered an unhealthy body type in one country might be the 'ideal figure' in another. In fact the image from China shows such a drastically slimmed-down version of the woman from the original image that her body type was now much below a healthy BMI, according to Superdrug Online Doctors.
