Hyderabad: A 50-year-old man committed suicide by cutting a vein near his genitals using a blade. The incident happened in Mahbubnagar district on Friday.
Police said the deceased B. Bal Reddy was a farmer from Shaikpet tanda. He was depressed about his health and his inability to cultivate his lands.
Two weeks ago he attempted suicide by hanging himself using a rope at home but his wife noticed it and was rescued.
On Thursday night he was alone as his wife Mangamma had gone out. “When she came she saw him bleeding,” said Gandeed SI Venkatesh. They rushed him to hospital. He succumbed on Saturday.
