On 15th August, 2015, India celebrates her 69th year of independence from the British Raj. So the guys from Sortedd.com went around asking what makes India unique and special according to them.
When people – both Indians and foreigners - were asked this question, naturally everybody came up with different answers. For some, it was the cheerfulness and smiles everywhere, for others India’s vibrant social and family life was better than in most countries.
Some folks were fans of the rich cultural heritage and diversity, for some Indian food was simply the best in the world. There were also people who felt that India was making a lot of progress in scientific and technological fields like the recent successful Mangalayaan mission to mars and credited that to the typical Indian ‘go-getter’ attitude better known in desi language as ‘jugaad’.
