Power cut, Hyderabad Cricket Association to go to police
Power supply was off to all the points on Wednesday night
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association will lodge a complaint with the city police on alleged tampering of power meters. A team from the TS Discom’s vigilance and enforcement wing had raided the HCA building recently and found tampering of meters, which amounts to penalty to the tune of Rs 2 crore. Power supply was off to all the points on Wednesday night.
“We are suffering a lot. We will lodge a complaint with the police to probe the matter. It’s nothing but an insider’s mischief. An engineer and his accomplice have been suspended some time ago. Some people with vested interests have done this. We cannot name them now and everything will be revealed once the investigation is done,” HCA president Arshad Ayub said.
