Visa God film is on

Filmmaker Allani Sridhar has completed the devotional film on Chilkur Balaji, which is also the film’s title. “We have shown the film to the main poojari of the Chilkur temple and he was all praises,” says Sridhar. Lord Balaji, the God in the film, is famous as ‘Visa God’ as many youngsters visit the temple to get their visas to go abroad. “I researched a lot before shooting and gave all the details about the temple and how Lord Balaji came here from Tirupati,” says Sridhar.

Veteran actors like Sai Kumar, Suman and Balasubramanyam play the main characters; Bhanu Sri Mehra of Varudu fame is also playing an important role. “The film needs computer graphics and the climax song remains to be shot,” says Sridhar, about the delay in release.
