The actress will play the main lead in untitled film

Punjabi girl Sonia Mann, who made her Telugu debut with Dhee Ante Dhee opposite Srikanth, has signed another Telugu film. She plays the female lead in a thriller directed by Sekhar Suri.
Interestingly, Sekhar’s earlier films like A Film By Aravind and Three have also been thrillers. “This film is female-centric and the director roped in Sonia for the main lead. The shooting will start in September,” says a source.
The actress is the daughter of Baldev Singh Mann, editor of Hirawal Dasta — a mouthpiece of the Naxalite movement (CPI-ML), who was gunned down by Khalistani militants in 1986. Other details of this film will be announced soon.
