The director already has the actor in mind for the lead role in the film
Mumbai: Varun Dhawan left the world speechless after his powerful performance in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Badlapur’. For the first time the actor worked hard to break away from his ‘chocolate boy’ image and his dark role in the film was well received by the audience.
According to a report in a daily, when Varun approached director Sriram for the film there were three films discussed. But Varun was sold with the idea of ‘Badlapur’. One of the other two films was a dark comedy and the other film is reportedly a sci-fi film.
According to the report, Raghavan already has Varun in mind for the film. The director wants to try something that is very rarely seen in Bollywood, and hopes to make a good sci-fi film.
