India is a cricket worshipping nation. So much is the adulation for the sport, that pet dogs have also been turned into devotees of the game that runs in the pulse of the nation.
In this video that is making rounds of the Internet, children have gathered for a round of cricket in the neighbourhood and along with them we see their four-legged friend also joining in the fun and games.
While, it might be the case that they were falling short of team members to play; the dog promptly steps up to his role and positions himself appropriately in the wicket keeper's stand. As the game continues, the furry wicket keepr jumps and catches the ball and even hands it back to the bowler.
