Hyderabad: A child labour was rescued from Vanasthalipuram from a bore well drilling firm by Police and Balala Hakkula Sangham.
“The 15-year-old was working at Navya Drillers. He had come to the city to stay with his relatives, but started working with the company,” said B. Pushpan Kumar, inspector, Vanasthalipuram.
The boy hails from Orissa and is a native of Malkangiri. The police is trying to trace his family.
Currently, the rescued boy has been shifted to a Government Child Protection home and the concerned authorities have been alerted about the incident and are trying to trace his family, the police officer said.
