Hospital sources reported that both mother and child are doing fine

Celebrity couple Sneha and Prasanna became proud parents on August 11 when Sneha delivered a boy at 1.55 am. The actress opted for a Caesarean operation at a private maternity hospital in T. Nagar. The baby weighs 2.8 kilos and hospital sources reported that both mother and child are doing fine.
Talking to DC, Prasanna said, “I am ecstatic! I haven’t moved out of her room yet. We admitted Sneha around 10 am on Monday but she had a long labour, and tried her level best for a normal delivery. But after a point doctors could not wait and decided to go for a caesarean.”
He adds, “I was there with her throughout the delivery and my God, those were enlightening moments. I could see in front of my eyes what Sneha was going through during labour and all I could do was to comfort her, holding her hands tightly. My respect for women has grown multiple times. Now, I realise what my mother would have gone through while delivering me.”
The actor said that he and Sneha shortlisted 20 names for each gender. “We even finalised the preferred name for a baby girl,” he said. Sneha got married to Prasanna in 2012 after a courtship that started when they acted together in the 2009 film, Achchamundu Achchamundu.
