The exchange rates for the yen against the rupee were quoted at 51.22 per 100 yen

Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India on August 10 fixed the reference rate of rupee at 63.75 against the US dollar and 69.87 for the euro as against 63.80 and 69.65 respectively, last Friday.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 98.75 and 51.22 per 100 yen, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon. The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, the statement added.
