Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu wants to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Union ministers from AP and his Cabinet colleagues over the denial of special category status to AP. The CMO has sought an appointment for the team with the PM between August 16 and 20.
Mr Naidu, who returned on Saturday from his week-long holiday in Turkey, met with ministers, MLAs and leaders. He told them: “The Centre has to announce special category status to AP. We are trying to bring pressure on Centre in this issue, BJP leaders also should bring pressure on Centre.”
