Beijing: An estranged couple in China smashed into each other's luxury cars on purpose to vent their anger after they failed to agree on a way to split their property.
The incident, a rather costly way to release anger, happened in Shunde County in the southeastern Guangdong province, Guangzhou Daily reported.
The husband, driving a black Mercedes, smashed purposely into his wife's white BMW on a downtown street, causing damages to both cars, the daily quoted witnesses as saying.
Police said the husband and wife are in the process of filing divorce and could not reach a deal on their property split.
When the woman tried to drive away, the man would not let her. He chased her and caused the car crash, the report said.
