Korean women heart hair bangs: Kendall Jenner inspires latest hair trend

After smashing the record for the most liked picture on Instagram, American model Kendall Jenner sparked off a hair trend that is growing increasingly popular among Korean women. Sporting conjoined fringes, or rather, heart-shaped hair bangs is apparently the new in thing.

Called hateu aapmuhri, which translates to “heart-bangs hair”, the new hairstyle craze has also created a buzz on social media with Koreans in their teens and early twenties uploading selfies wearing heart bangs on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. You can try out heart bangs yourself by using a curling iron and some hairspray to shape your bangs into an upside-down forehead heart.
