Siddharth Roy Kapur calls Anurag-Katrina tiff ‘manufactured lies’

Mumbai: After news of several delays, reports of disagreements, cast reshuffles, re-shoots and more, fans were beginign to wonder if ‘Jagga Jasoos’ would ever see the light of day. The film that is being directed by Anurag Basu and stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif was in the news lately after reports stating of a director-actress tiff breaking out on set.

However, according to film’s producer Sidharth Roy Kapur, this report was just another case of ‘manufactured lies’.

At a recent ‘Tamasha’ bash, the producer put the record straight when he said, “Its really hilarious, because I was on the sets the day before the news came out and we were all there, Anurag, Ranbir, Katrina and I, and we were all having a great time. The next day there was news about them having issues. I think I look at it very positively because its always good when people are talking about the film. When there is nothing, then people are manufacturing lies.”

When asked if Ranbir and Katrina’s relationship status will help ‘Jagga Jasoos’, Siddharth said that he really thinks it is the Anurag-Ranbir paring that will be the highlight, especially after ‘Barfi’. He added that he had seen a clip from the film and is really happy with it. He also confirmed that ‘Jagga Jasoos’ would be out in June 2016.
