Hyderabad: Fourteen people were injured when a Volvo bus toppled into a pit on National Highway 65 on the outskirts of Tekumatla village in Suryapet mandal early on Friday. The bus, which belonged to Meghna Travels, was coming to Hyderabad from Vizianagaram. Forty passengers were on board.
Suryapet cops said, “The driver tried to move a curtain which was obstructing his view of the rear view mirror and lost control. The bus rammed into the divider, and when the driver turned it towards the left, it fell into a pit.”
