Hundreds of them dressed in black posted the pictures to show their support. Some even had messages for corporators and the state government.
The group members will henceforth observe ‘Black Friday’ every week in this month. The members plan to wear black for half-an-hour and gather at a designated point at 1 pm on August 28. move is aimed to create awareness.
Though they plan to gather in large numbers, the protesters will not shout slogans, talk or even engage in altercations of any sort. To those who plan to make a noise, they warned, “We are above all that. You are on your own if you engage in any of that!”
