The actress not just averted a wardrobe malfunction but also stood by her friend on the red carpet

The SIIMA awards are never short of their share of excitement and this year too saw a potential malfunction averted.
Tolly actress and producer Lakshmi Manchu was all dressed for the red carpet in a pale fusion outfit when Taapsee Pannu noticed something was amiss with the garment which would have been potentially embarrassing for Ms Manchu. Taapsee stayed back with Lakshmi who quickly changed and they walked the red carpet together. Lakshmi took to Twitter and acknowledged her friend’s help by saying, “Wardrobe malfunction just as I’m leaving to @siima @taapsee to my rescue. What would I do without u? Friends forever”. She tweeted: “Changed! Tomorrows outfit I wear today...I will rock this with the 10 mins I had to redo everything like the whole look”.
Karma is certainly on Lakshmi’s side because two years back, when Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi had a wardrobe malfunction while performing on stage, it was Lakshmi who rushed to her rescue. Looks like the universe has its own way of keeping tab.
