Two people try to end life for not being allowed to meet KCR

The two were stopped by security personnel at the Secretariat and CM’s camp office

Hyderabad: In the last two days, two people have tried to end their lives after being stopped by security personnel at the Secretariat and the CM’s camp office when they went to meet Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao with their petitions.

On Tuesday, a 36-year-old woman attempted suicide by consuming pills in front of the Telangana Secretariat. The victim, who was depressed due to her financial problems, tried to meet the CM.

On Wednesday, 24-year old Telangana activist, Mr Pidamarthi Nagaraju, tried to self-immolate in front of the CM’s camp office in Begumpet, after security personnel denied him entry to meet Mr Rao.

Chief ministers of undivided AP would organise ‘Praja Darbars’ at their camp office regularly to meet people, which is absent in Telangana now, due to which common people are finding it extremely difficult to meet the CM to submit petitions.
