“We don’t care what actors do during their off hours” says Nikhil Advani

It’s not uncommon for PR machineries to work on an overdrive during film promotions, but this one takes the cake. Lead actors of a film are often linked with each other romantically (never mind that they have no such inclinations outside of the sets), but the team on Nikhil Advani’s Hero has gone a step further and spread the word that the film’s actors — Sooraj Pancholi and Aathiya Shetty had to sign a no-dating clause before signing the film.
A friend of Sooraj laughed off the idea saying, “It’s the most ridiculous contract clause since the no-pregnancy-after-marriage clause we keep hearing about. Sooraj showed not the slightest inclination to date Aathiya before, during or after the shooting of Hero. After the tragic death of his last girlfriend Jiah Khan, Sooraj doesn’t even contemplate dating anyone.”
Hero director Nikhil Advani laughed out even louder. “I have no idea know where these stories come from. There isn’t the slightest truth in it. I was with Salman Khan (the film’s producer) and when I told him about it, he was like, ‘huh? We don’t care what actors do during off hours.”
