Muddasir, Chandan, Ashish, Satish shine in top league

Hyderabad: Tanay Thyagarajan of Cambridge XI and Vishal Sharma of SBH showed their class with the ball on Day Two of HCA’s three-day league matches being played in the city.
Off-spinner Vishal bowled a magical spell of 7/46 to help SBH defeat India Cements by an innings and 168 runs.
Following on after making only 175, India Cements were shot out for a paltry 82 in their second essay. Earlier, SBH made 425/9 with Mohammed Muddasir Hussain taking 5/109 for India Cements.
Tanay continued his good form this season with another top performance by taking eight wickets giving away 134 runs against Ensconse. Cambridge XI were 163/2 at the end of Day Two in reply to Ensconse’s 493/9.
In another match, Evergreen made 332 in 97.4 overs against BDL courtesy Chandan Sahani’s solid knock of 115. Batting first, BDL made 297 in 64 overs.
Meanwhile, A. Ashish Reddy scored a brilliant 138 in 122 balls to help Andhra Bank post 390 against Gemini friends. C. Satish was the pick of the bowlers for Gemini Friends with 5/155.
