TS Transco always makes it available to the public all fact and figures

Hyderabad: Telangana Power Generation Corp. has clarified that the state government has been providing full financial support to all the projects — for those in progress and in the pipeline.
Reacting to a news report appeared in these columns on Wednesday, Financial Advisor and Chief Controller of Accounts E Anuradha stated that ‘the equity amount is met from the internal resources of TSGenco and budgetary support by the government. It released Rs 870 crore till date to the utility and a budget provision of Rs 1,475 crore for FY16 was made.
Making it clear that no document or balance sheets were sought from TSGenco either by PFC nor by any other financial institution, Ms Anuradha said, “The current loan in-take situation in the financial marks i.e. banking industry and huge financial support provided by the state government made the institutions to show enormous interest for providing loan to our projects.”
Since CAG audit and bifurcation of assets and liabilities is in progress, seeking of balance sheets does not arise, Ms Anuradha contended. She has also stated that TS Transco always makes it available to the public all fact and figures with regard to power purchase.
