UsWeekly’s sources say that Kendall’s friend model Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Joe Jonas (Nick’s brother) reintroduced the two, with Gigi thinking “it would be fun for all of them to hang out”.
“Nick was single and looking to date and there was an obvious attraction,” the source said, “He absolutely thinks she’s hot,” with another source claiming the two “had a flirty chemistry from the start”.
