Mumbai: It's official! The numbers have just come in and its confirmed that 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has managed to cross Rs 300 cr. It becomes the second film in the history of Hindi film industry to enter the 300 crore club. The first was Raj Kumar Hirani's 'PK' which had a lifetime collection of Rs 324.30 NBOC.
Director Kabir Khan also took to twitter to break the news, which also makes it his personal best achievement. He shared this picture.
Salman Khan's 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun' released on 5th August 1994 and broke all records. Exactly 21 years after the release on that film, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' touched the landmark figure on 5th August, 2015. Now it remains to be seen if it is able to beat Aamir's record of 'PK'.
Kudos to EROS for not giving misleading figures of the film and always sticking to accurate collections.
Congratulations to SKF films and Kabir Khan for making a film that touched everyone's heart with a beautiful message.
