Hyderabad: A 36-year-old woman attempted suicide by consuming pills in front of the Telangana Secretariat on Tuesday. The victim, who was depressed due to her financial problems tried to meet CM.
When she was not allowed to meet the CM she reportedly took this step. According to the police, the victim, Archana, is a native of Medak district. She allegedly had applied for a government loan but it was not sanctioned.
So, she had come to meet the CM K. Chandrashekar Rao and submit a petition. “When she was not allowed in, she attempted to consume some tablets. Our personnel noticed this and took away the bottle and rescued her,” said Saifabad additional inspector Y Prakash Reddy.
