Amitabh, Salman and Akshay beat SRK in Forbes' highest paid actor list

Mumbai: Bollywood biggies Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have made it to the top 10 in Forbes' highest paid actor list.

This will be the first time that Forbes has included actors who have worked outside the Hollywood movie industry, the BBC reported.

Both Salman Khan and Sr. Bachchan made it to the list on the seventh spot, with a total of $33.5 million each, just ahead of Akshay Kumar’s $32.5 million haul.

Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr. topped the list as highest-paid actors for the third time in a row, thanks to the 80 million dollars he earned from his blockbuster flicks like 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.

The 50-year-old actor was followed by actors Jackie Chan who earned 50 million and Vin Diesel with 47 million dollars, all thanks to the success of Furious 7. Daniel Craig was the only British actor to stand at number 15, a spot he shares with Australian actor Chris Hemsworth.

Bollywood’s King Khan fills in the number 18 spot with a whopping $26 million in his kitty. Two flop films (Roy and Bombay Velvet) didn’t seem to affect Ranbir Kapoor’s wallet. The actor comes in at number 30 on the list with a total earning of $15 million.
