Mumbai Cricket Association upsets Wankhede Stadium security guard by lifting SRK ban
Mumbai: The Mumbai Cricket Association’s decision to revoke the ban on KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t gone down well with the security guard Vikas Dalvi at the Wankhede Stadium who was involved in a scuffle with the Bollywood star.

In 2012, Shah Rukh and his entourage reportedly abused the guard verbally at the Wankhede Stadium and the brawl led to the ban on the actor.
Khan, however, denied he had misbehaved and maintained that he reacted only after children, including his kids, were "manhandled" by the security staff at the stadium.
“I’m not happy with the decision of MCA’s managing committee,” said Dalvi, a day after the five-year ban was overturned. (Photo: AFP)
“What can I do? The members of the committee didn’t speak to me before lifting the ban,” he added.
The guard was asked to go on leave after the incident three years ago. A political party even honoured him for his bravery. “I don’t know whether I would be able to shake hands with SRK,” the guard signed off.
