The Mission Impossible series, known for its action and adrenaline pumping sequences has taken things a step ahead in its latest edition Mission Impossible — Rogue Nation if Wade Eastwood, Hollywood stunt performer is to be believed. The man is all praise for Tom Cruise who believes the actor has pushed the envelope in the latest series.
“In this film, there is a lot of high-speed, precision driving using very fast cars and very fast motorbikes on very dangerous roads. So, experienced as Tom is, I suggested that we go back to basics, so that he would come out an even better driver than he was before. And, of course, Tom always gives 120 per cent and just went for it and exceeded every expectation.”
Eastwood continues, “Driving is my core genre. So I can say that the quality of Tom’s driving was ridiculous. There is no stunt man I would have rather used for these chases instead of him, because he has those skills mastered as much as anyone, and is in character literally the whole time.”
