Telangana suspends Warangal DEO Dr Y Chandra Mohan for violating transfer rules

Hyderabad: Heads have begun rolling after the large scale irregularities in the recent transfers of government teachers. The Telangana government on Saturday suspended Warangal DEO Dr Y. Chandra Mohan for violating transfer rules.

It is interesting that he is the DEO of the home district of the Deputy CM and education minister Kadiam Srihari.

It was reported in these columns about several government schools not having teachers and ones without students being allotted teachers.

Most of the violations are said to be in Warangal and Medak districts, the latter is the home district of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
