Nishikant Kamat’s recently-released Drishyam and next to-be-released Rocky Handsome have much in common — they’re both remakes, deal with the subject of justice denied and revolve around the date October 2.
Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam is a remake of a Malayalam film by the same name where as John-starrer Rocky Handsome is a remake of a Korean thriller called The Man from Nowhere.
“They’re two different worlds, but bound by the same thread. The difference is that Ajay uses his mind to ward off his enemies while John uses muscle power. He will be doing stunts he’s never attempted before. The action is much beyond what we saw in my film Force,” says the director.
