Kushboo is all set for her new talk show on the small screen that focuses on film stars

Kushboo is more popular for her TV shows rather than her soaps on the small screen. The Jackpot show, which was aired on Jaya TV a few years back, not only garnered huge TRP but also gave Kusbhoo a larger-than-life image. The beautiful actress-turned-politician is all set with yet another talk show Simply Kushboo, which will focus on celebrities. It is for a different channel as well.
Simply Kushboo is a talk show where the actress will interact with celebrities from Kollywood every week. “Unlike other shows with stars where they talk about their films and family, this one is totally different. The lesser-known personal side of the star will be brought out in front of the viewers across interesting segments of the show. It will basically be a fun show and a new experience for the audiences. Sometimes, artistes may not open up to just any anchor. Since I know most of them quite well, it will help me a lot. The vibes will also be good. To a certain extent I can take some liberty with them,” said Kushboo to DC.
Remember how ‘Jackpot Blouses’ became an instant hit with women in the city! On being asked whether her political persona will come in her way of hosting and dressing up for the show, Kushboo laughed and responded, “You can’t change my basic personality. The show will be lively and entertaining. But yes, I have a very new look and I am clad in saris only. Jayalakshmi who created my costumes for films like Aranmanai and Ambala is my stylist for this show.”
She said that there are so many shows on various channels, and it was quite challenging to ensure that Simply Kushboo is unique and special. To start with, Kamal Haasan, Tamannah, Jayam Ravi and Anjali, Sivakarthikeyan among others have been roped in for the initial episodes of the show, to be aired on Zee Tamil.
