Music director-anchor James Vasanthan wasn’t satisfied with the show

A few days ago, maestro Ilaiyaraaja hosted a tribute show for legendary musician MS Viswanathan who passed away recently. Superstar Rajinikanth and many others turned up for the musical event which was enjoyed by many music aficionados and admirers of Ilaiyaraaja.
However, it seems that music director-anchor James Vasanthan wasn’t satisfied with the show. James, who turned director with Vaanavil Vazhkai wrote on his microblogging page that he attended the show out of his respect for the legends MSV and Ilaiyaraaja.
But he added that as a fan and as a music lover, he was quite disappointed, and that people who were at the event would agree with him. This has led to a debate on social media with the many fans of the Isaignani asking James to take back his words, because they felt that his opinion was an insult to their idol.
