Bollywood version of Puli releasing in 1500 screens

The makers of Puli are leaving no stone unturned to promote it

Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali, a period piece with visual grandeur, tasted success through its release in multiple languages. Similarly, Vijay’s Puli will also be released simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu apart from Tamil.
Puli, which is a fantasy family entertainer directed by Chimbudevan and made with a mammoth budget, has an ensemble cast with Vijay, Sridevi, Prabhu, Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sudeep, and Nandita.
The movie will have a B’town and Tollywood release simultaneously in addition to Tamil with 1,500 screens in Maharashtra and 1,200 screens in Andhra Pradesh. Confirming the news, producer PT Selvakumar says, “The film has a universal appeal in terms of content. With fantasy elements and a periodic backdrop, film buffs from other countries can relate to it and enjoy the film. We are also planning to release Puli in China and Japan later.”
Since Vijay has a huge market in Kerala, Puli will have its Tamil version in the marquees there, on approximately 150 screens. The makers of the movie are leaving no stone unturned to promote it in the best possible way and ensure that it will be a sure-shot blockbuster.
According to production sources, the audio launch of Puli is scheduled at a plush beachside resort at ECR on August 2, and the makers have invited Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, T’town stars Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna, M’town star Mohanlal, and others.
