Telangana blocking investors to Andhra Pradesh, alleges minister
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh social welfare minister Ravela Kishore Babu has accused the TRS government of Telangana of indulging in a vicious campaign to stop investors from making investments in the state.
This allegation was made by the minister on a day when ministers from AP and Telugu Desam MLAs and leaders from TS attacked the TRS government with all guns blazing over its role in the phone tapping incident.
AP’s information technology minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy, L. Ramana and Jupudi Prabhakar lashed out at the TRS government over the phone tapping incident and said the day is not far when the TRS government will collapse.
Mr Kishore said the neighbouring state was misleading investors. When asked if he was referring to Telangana he asked if it needs to be mentioned.
The neigbouring state has even written letters and sent emails to investors stating that the financial position of AP is not good and that the atmosphere in AP is not conducive to investments, the minister said.
What’s more, the minister said TS while projecting AP in poor light invited potential investors to TS. “We (AP) have proof of what I am saying. We will make it public at the appropriate time,” the minister said on being if there was any proof to support his allegations.
He said it is unethical on the part of TS to mislead investors and tap phones of AP ministers.
The minister also accused YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of supporting the TRS government in this game.
"Jagan has failed as an opposition leader and people will teach him a lesson," Ravela Kishore Babu added.
