P Jayarajan flays SNDP’s ties with BJP

CPM will fiercely resist such attempts: Jayarajan

KANNUR: CPM district secretary P. Jayarajan has come down heavily on the SNDP following its attempt to warm up to the BJP. In a press conference here on Thursday, he said the SNDP’s attempt reflects its leadership’s craving for power.

“It is an attempt to communalise the society. It will not succeed here. The reported tying up with BJP has nothing to do with ideology but a few leaders’ thirst for power only,” he ridiculed.

Jayarajan reminded that it was not a mere coincidence that the SNDP held ‘Malabar Mahasangaman’ in Kannur to woo the community people when A. B. Vajpayee was the prime minister.

Referring to RSS leader Kathirur Manoj murder case, he reiterated that CBI is trying to defame CPM by falsely implicating party leaders in the case. “CPM will fiercely resist such attempts,” Jayarajan said.
