Though speculation regarding the casting of Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film has not died out, an interesting piece of information has emerged about its technical department. Actor-director Parthiban’s daughter Keerthana is assisting the ace filmmaker.
Confirming the same, the veteran actor says, “She has been involved in the project and is a part of the ongoing discussions pertaining to the film. It is a dream come true for her as she wanted to work under Mani sir since a long time.”
The young aspirant had worked with director Vishnuvardhan for the Ajith-starrer Arrambam and Thiagarajan Kumararaja for the critically acclaimed flick Aaranya Kaandam. However, she wasn’t a part of Parthiban’s Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam. So what are her future plans with respect to direction? The proud father says, “Like me, she too doesn’t reveal too much about her plans. As for now, all I can say is she is very passionate about films.”
