Mumbai: Last time, the Maharashtra government had executed 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab whose body was disposed of at unknown location.
Elaborating on the details over security arrangement, DCP (detection) Dhananjay Kulkarni said that a total of 12 companies of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) along with an undisclosed number of units from the Quick Reaction Teams, the Force One commandos and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad will be deployed at certain strategic locations.
A curfew has been imposed in the radius of 500 metres around Nagpur jail. Two hundred strategic locations have been identified which are communally sensitive and is likely to see mob trouble, DCP Dhananjay Kulkarni said.
