Engineering aspirants visited both the room at RCC and the guest house to pay their homage to the “missile man”

Chennai: Several students and their parents who had come to Anna University to attend counselling for engineering colleges from across the state paid their respects to former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his room at Anna University on Tuesday.
When Dr Kalam relinquished President’s post, Anna University offered him Professor Emeritus faculty post and provided him a room in the University’s Ramanujan Computing Centre and guest house (RCC).
Engineering aspirants, who had come for counselling and students of Anna University visited both the room at RCC and the guest house to pay their homage to the “missile man.”
The university officials kept a big portrait of the former president with some of the memento he had been given at various events and a couple of books written by him.
