Umesh Shukla, whose film All is Well will soon release after a much-hyped delay, is confident of its content. “After Smritiji’s (Irani) exit, I had to re-shoot 18 days worth of footage with Supriya Pathak. I am glad I didn’t give in to the pressure of the release date and waited till I got the perfect replacement for Smritiji,” he says.
He’s also looking forward to 102 Not Out, where Amitabh Bachchan plays a 102-year-old man and father of Paresh Rawal. “The camaraderie between the father-son will be the USP of the film,” he says.
Meanwhile, he is all praise for All Is Well star Abhishek. “Abhishek is a perfect combination of a producer, a businessman and a great actor. Amitji is impeccable. It wasn’t daunting at all. The reason for my comfortable equation with them is their approach towards their work. They are willing to give and accept suggestions. Working with the Bachchan’s has been an absolute delight.”
