After hitting headlines with his tweet about Yakub Memon, Salman has been missing in action. The actor had tweeted in defence of Yakub Memon, who is on death row in connection with the ’93 Mumbai blasts. Minutes after the tweet appeared online, it attracted a backlash that made Khan clarify his statement at the behest of his father who suggested that he stay elsewhere for some time to avoid the limelight.
Which is why, he hasn’t been staying at his famous Galaxy apartment residence in Bandra or in his Panvel farmhouse. Turns out the star has been put up at a close aide’s home in Chembur, Mumbai.
Last week, Salman and gang ordered a pizza from a pizza joint in Chembur. “All hell broke lose when Salman, on the spur of the moment decided to open the door to collect the food. The frazzled delivery boy didn’t know what struck him when he saw that the man standing before him was Salman Khan,” says an eyewitness.
He may have done it for fun, but that would mean defeating the purpose of his temporary move out.
