How owl-dorable!
It's rare that an encounter with police officers could be described as "cute," but that's the word that comes to mind after the Boulder County Sheriff's Office tweeted photos of an officer kneeling on a gravel road before a fuzzy ball of fur belonging to an owlet.
The baby appears to be standing its ground as it looks wide-eyed at the officer in awe. "After curious head-twisting on both sides, it flew safely away," the tweet reads. It ended with the hashtag #DeputiesLoveBabyOwls.
The video below captures their friendly encounter and the officer can be heard saying ‘Hi’ to the bird, who responds by giving her a friendly click.
