Steve Jobs documentary 'Man in the Machine' gets first trailer
The movie centers on Jobs' private life and how he became a brilliant icon of the 21st century
Mumbai: The first trailer for documentary 'Steve Jobs: Man in the Machine' has arrived.
Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, the documentary pulls no punches on the portrait of Apple founder Steve Jobs and his legacy. This probing and unflinching look at the life and aftermath of the bold, brilliant and at times ruthless iconoclast explores what accounted for the grief of so many when he died.
Combining old footage and new interviews, the movie centers on Jobs' private and personal life and how he became a brilliant technology maker. The trailer opens with Jobs wearing his iconic turtle neck top with a pair of blue jeans in an expo.
"Thank you for coming. We're gonna make some histories together today," Jobs said.
The documentary digs into Jobs' dark side as well as his glorious career.
The lines "His stuff was beloved, but it wasn't that he was beloved," is narated in voiceover. Produced by Gibney and Viva Van Loock, the movie is slated to hit theaters on September 4.
