The death penalty was awarded by judiciary and not the BJP, he added
Vijayawada: BJP national secretary and AP affairs in-charge Siddharth Nath Singh criticised AIMIM president Assaddudin Owaisi for supporting Yakub memon who was awarded death penalty in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts.
Speaking to media on Saturday, Mr Singh said that Congress and its allies are playing religion-based politics. The death penalty was awarded by judiciary and not the BJP, he added.
