Hyderabad: A chain snatching victim who suffered serious head injuries succumbed while undergoing treatment on Saturday. The incident happened near OU Law College on July 17, when two men snatched gold ornaments weighing 35 grams from the dead Sunitha.
The deceased, along with her son Sanjay, 17, was returning to their home in Barkatpura. The woman, who was in coma after the incident, was undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
The victim’s family alleged that the police were negligent in tracing criminals, while, the police denied the charges.
