Priyanka Chopra finding 'Quantico' shoot hectic?
The Bollywood actress didn't think TV shows required to shoot many scenes in a day
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is currently busy with the shoot of her American TV series 'Quantico' in the US and Canada, says she had no idea that working for the small screen could be so hectic.
'Quantico' tells the story of a diverse group of recruits who arrive at the FBI Quantico Base for training. In the ABC thriller, the 32-year-old actress plays the lead role of Alex Parish, an agent whose past resurfaces soon after she arrives at the training camp and is accused of a crime she didn't commit.
"So much work!! I didn't know TV was so many scenes in one day. NYC, LA, Montreal in a matter of a week!! Craaaaay," the 'Mary Kom' star posted on twitter.
The series has been penned and executive produced by Josh Safran. Priyanka has been cast as the female lead in the pilot, which also stars Dougray Scott, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Masri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington and Grahaam Rogers. The series that premiere this fall, will be the first where an Indian actor will be seen playing the lead.
This series will mark Priyanka's international television debut. In previous interviews, she also revealed that she would lend her voice to the show's soundtracks. It had also been reported that she would be travelling back and forth to India, to shoot Sanjay Leela Bansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'.
