Narendra Modi to watch ‘Baahubali’ if he has time: Prabhas
The actor was in Delhi to meet the PM and discussed the film with him
Mumbai: S S Rajamouli's multi-lingual blockbuster 'Baahubali' , touted as the most expensive Indian movie, has been creating milestones since its release on July 10, including Rs 50 crore collection on the first day, making it the biggest opening of 2015 so far. The film has even earned itself a spot in the Gunnies Book of World records and also walked away with a 100 crore loot from the worldwide box office.
However, our country’s Prime Minister has still been unable to watch the movie because of his hectic schedule. The film’s leading star Prabhas was in Delhi today to meet the. During their meet, the actor spoke about the film to the PM, where he revealed that he was busy and hence unable to catch a screening.
“I spoke about Baahubali ,I told him(PM) to watch the movie. He said he is busy but will watch if he has time,” Prabhas told ANI.
After the grand success of ‘Baahubali’ the makers are finally gearing up for the shoot of the sequel of the movie. Lead actor Prabhas has revealed that film will resume shooting for the second instalment of the film on September 15. The cast is currently on a break and are expected to return back by then.
According to reports 40 percent of the second part of the film has already been shot. The battle sequences and other important portions are reportedly left to shoot.
The film will take off from the first part and will focus on Shivdu’s (Prabhas) journey to avenge his father’s death.
