After Baahubali’s success in dubbed versions, a big release for Mahesh Babu’s film is being planned in Tamil Nadu

Hyderabad: After the big-budget film Baahubali tasted success through its release in several languages including Tamil, looks like it is becoming a trend to release Telugu movies simultaneously.
The upcoming Mahesh Babu-Shruti Haasan starrer Srimanthudu, which was made for Rs 70 crore, will be dubbed and released in Tamil as Selvandhan on August 7, the same day the original hits the marquee in Tollywood. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film has Jagapathi Babu, Sukanya and Sanam Shetty in the supporting cast. A.R.K. Rajaraja pens the dialogues and brings it to Tamil.
A source says, “It’s an action film which would also go well with Tamil audiences. Hence, we are releasing it in a big way in Tamil Nadu.”
