Staff at the hospital claim to have saved at least 20 people with the treatment
London: A Birmingham based hospital is serving its patients liquid poo to help rid of a deadly bug.
Under the stinky new treatment over 20 patients with the killer food bug C. diff were told to drink the revolting drink at Heartlands Hospital, the Daily Star reported.
Staff claims that they have had 90 per cent success rate using the method.
Professor Peter Hawkey from Birmingham University said the eye-watering liquid looked like black coffee, and the patients gulp it down without tasting.
