Director Gunasekhar announced the release date at a press meet on Friday

Hyderabad: After postponing the release multiple times, Anushka Shetty-starrer Rudhramadevi finally has a release date. Director Gunasekhar announced that currently post-production work is underway and the movie will hit the screens on September 4. Allu Arjun, who plays a short but an important role in the movie, wasn’t present during the press meet.
The movie revolves around the life of Rani Rudhramadevi, played by Anushka. The movie also stars Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj and Nithya Menon amongst others, none of who attended the media interaction on Friday. With another period drama set to release, can Tollywood deliver another Baahubali? Only time will tell.
